Spiral staircases

In one of the largest and most exceptional National Monuments of our country, the old Provincial Hospital in Meerenberg, we designed and installed two exclusive spiral staircases. Both stairs are more than four meters high.

The stringers are made of hardwood. The curves run nicely through in the balustrades on the floors above. After placing the stairs, we finished the bottom side of both staircases in a traditional way.

The steps are are finished with black charcoal, which gives a nice unblemished contrast.
