Modern stairs

We were given the opportunity to design and install these amazing staircases for a home in Amsterdam.

The steps and risers are perpendicular to each other, and are as thin and slender as possible. The wood of the stairs is treated with the same oil as the floor, so you get a nice game with which the floor seems to continue in the stairs.

The construction is self-supporting and separate from the glass. By placing the glass around the stairs, this staircase really stands out.
