These exclusive stairs consist of wood and are totally round designed. The stairs nicely blend into the balustrades, that seem to disappear into the wall.
The handrail is 25cm high and is finished with a special metallic paint. In order to make it truly a detached object, the stairs are optically not attached to the walls.
The oak steps are finished in the same way as the floor for a seamless transition.

During the realization of the interior design of this home, provided by none other than Piet Boon, we worked intensively together on the design and development of the stairs. The result can be seen as a custom-made ‘Van Bruchem x Piet Boon staircase’ that harmonizes perfectly with its surroundings.
