Big height to bridge

There is a huge eye-catcher in the entrance hall of this business building: the spiral staircase.

The owners did not want a standard staircase to connect the different floors. No less than 5.5 meters in height had to be bridged and 29 steps were used for optimum walking.

The steps are so driven that the lines of the handrails run nicely upwards. The result is an impressive and elegant staircase.

"Placing the spiral staircase was challenging, partly in view of the weight. The end result is amazing and beautifully flowing."
